Interest rates are at an all-time low, below 5% according to the media. The housing market is still experiencing dropping or low prices, though the number of sales in the Shenandoah Valley is picking up. (We’ll have specific market conditions involving hunting properties in another article.) The cumulative result of these two factors is that this is a great time to pick up that hunting cabin you always wanted.
To help you out, we will get some hunting properties listed for you to check out. The kinds of properties we will search for will be large enough that you can hunt on your own property, or will be near one of the National Forest where you can hunt freely; will have a cabin or other lodging in place, or will be ready for you to build; may have easy access to I-81 or be in a more remote location.
But, to help us gather the widest array of properties satisfactory to dedicated hunters, share with us the characteristics you would like to see in a hunting property.
